The conference brought together multiple stakeholders, including the United Nations Security Council's special representative, the European Union's special representative, the General Director of the National Environmental Protection Agency, the Deputy Director of the Ministry of Water and Energy, media representatives, experts, and provincial leaders.

Each stakeholder delivered a speech addressing the impacts of climate change on Afghan communities, and experts explored possible solutions while advocating for Afghanistan’s needs on the international stage. The event concluded with a statement announcing that a delegate from The Liaison Office will represent Afghanistan at COP29 in Azerbaijan, presenting these concerns to the international community.
